Bluewrist Hosts ASIP Funding Announcement
AUGUST 31, 2016 – MARKHAM, ONTARIO – Today, we were pleased to welcome the Honourable Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science, and Economic Development, as well as the Honourable John McCallum, Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship to Bluewrist Inc. in Markham, Ontario. Also in attendance were local Members of Parliament, Jennifer O’Connell (Pickering-Uxbridge), Francesco Sorbara (Vaughan-Woodbridge) and Majid Jowhari (Richmond Hill). Here, the announcement was made in regards to the Automotive Supplier Innovation Program (ASIP) funding, which was granted to 4 Canadian companies looking to develop a commercially viable solution to help customers overcome their utmost challenges.
Bluewrist, a key player in the worldwide automotive industry, provides technologies which allow for fostered growth in many tiers of manufacturing, offering Canada a unique cutting edge technology to increase production while reducing waste and saving energy for manufacturers around the world. As demonstrated for those in attendance, our systems were displaying the integration of robots with 3D vision technologies for inline inspection and verification of parts as they are manufactured.
